Ananya Panday supports long-distance relationship amidst dating rumours with Walker Blanco; says, “Distance does make the heart grow fonder”

Actress Ananya Panday is rumoured to be in a relationship with Walker Blanco, a former model who now works at Anant Ambani’s animal shelter, Vantara. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about managing a long-distance relationship, describing the space as healthy and adding that distance often makes the heart grow fonder.

Speaking to Filmfare amid these relationship rumours, Ananya shared her perspective on maintaining a relationship from afar. She expressed that having space in a relationship can sometimes be beneficial. According to the actress, not meeting for 4-5 days is manageable, and even being apart for two months can work, as it allows for emotional growth and appreciation.

When asked about the kind of girlfriend she is, Ananya reflected on her personal growth. Over time, she has become more comfortable with herself, which she believes has positively influenced her relationships. She admitted that in the past, she would often adapt to her partner’s interests and even alter her preferences to align with theirs. This included spending less time with friends and changing her life, even when her partner did not ask for it.

However, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress now feels she is in a better place, where she can maintain her individuality while being in a relationship. She strives to strike a balance between her own identity and that of her partner, believing that both individuals should be able to remain happy without losing themselves. Ananya emphasised that she now values authenticity and would rather be true to herself than pretend to be someone else just to sustain a relationship. She believes that being anything other than genuine would never work in the long term.

Ananya and Walker Blanco were first seen together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in July this year. As reported by Bombay Times, Ananya introduced Walker as her “partner” during the event, where he accompanied her as her date.
